Petitions pulled from Cuyahoga and Medina Counties, and a caveat UPDATE: Lorain County as well

Well, the Lorain phones still don't work, so we called around to Medina and Cuyahoga to get those counties' petitions. When speaking to the Cuyahoga Board of elections, they gave an interesting caveat: the candidate themselves does not have to be the person who pulls the petitions. This may lead to petitions being passed for people who may not intend to run. But hey, it's fun to speculate, so we'll report who's being circulated.

Gary Kucinich (D): as in brother of Dennis, and an ex Cleveland School Board member. He'd be a big enough name to change the complexion of the race, although I doubt he'd win. Too many potential constituents live in the 13th because they ran away from what his brother did in Cleveland as its mayor.

Jack Schira (D) - We knew him already.
Chuck DeLorean (R)- We found on an old Delorean Mailing List, about halfway down the page, discussion of a Chuck DeLorean, who the writer believed to be the brother of John DeLorean. It says he owns an auto dealership in Lakewood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. What to make of this, who knows?

We will continue to effort Lorain County, and hopefully complete this list. If anyone else wants to give them a try, please do, and let us know what's up there.

Lorain: Only two R's have pulled petitions, Paul Lehman and Lawrence Jaycox. No word on who the heck they are as of yet.
